Now I have asked this, the 'womens lobby' will undoubtedly cite 'essential journeys' amongst other such babblings. I wonder how essential these journeys would become if they had to pay for the space they took up on the train? I doubt then that they would be essential at all. Our public transport is already very crowded and it makes me bloody angry that women worsen it in rush hour with ludicrous sized push chairs or buggies. It is an inconvenience to everyone else and they should be banned between the hours of 7-9 and 16-18 or else charged treble (they take up the space of three passengers). Anyone agree?
