Fast food, ice cream, soda, candy, pasta, fried chicken and basically any type of food that contains sugar, salt and fat is delicious but can end up killing us if we're not careful.
We as human beings have evolved but we are still animals; survival is at the top of our priority list.
Why, then, do we desire that which is unhealthy instead of that which is healthy?
By eating healthy foods and exercising, we ensure that we live long lives which would, in turn, ensure that we have a better chance to spread our genes and strengthen the gene pool.
I realize that we all have the ability to make good choices but I'm just wondering why our body and brain would compel us to crave food that has the potential to be addicting and yet can, in a way, hurt us if consumed too often.
