Why do we care if Fox News tipped off Ensign?

After all, it was not Fox News that had the affair with Ensign...and one can't help but believe that state run media outlets are doing this all of the time on a myriad of issues. Why does it matter?

I don't know if I really care. I just know I wasn't surprised that FOX would tip off a conservative hypocrite. They wouldn't have done the same for a liberal of course. It just helps prove what people believe about FOX. That they are GOP shills who have to call themselves "fair and balanced" because no one else who is credible will do so. As soon as you find proof that the "liberal media" has done the same for a disgraced Democrat please let us know. And what is "state run" media? The "state" does not run media outlets.

It doesn't matter that it was Fox. But the reason WE are interested in this story is because Ensign didn't explain why he was announcing his affair. He left it up to speculation. Naturally, WE all speculated ... causing our interest to grow.

It wouldn't have mattered if Ensign had been tipped off by ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, or the Daily Show.

I wasn't even paying any attention to it. I was thinking that we are in big financial trouble, we got north korean threatening with nukes, 12% to 15% unemployment. I'm thinking what ensign is doing is on the bottom of my lists of I really don't give a flying truck!
