Why do US citizens not want to buy US cars (GM, Ford, .) while koreans living in the...

...US all buy korean cars ? American car industry is going straigth to the bin of the auto history. So why do US citizens continue buying korean cars while Korean refuse to import US beef and throw stones at US Soldiers ?
 
i think you mean Japanese cars. but also the koreans buy us vehicles like Fords they have their own vehicles made by ford. and people here are afraid to spend money due to the bad economy.
 
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Korean (Japanese, German...) cars offer more value for your dollar?
As for American car industry going down, maybe it's because the unions made the industry to pay American auto workers $75 per hour and it's a "little too much?" Or maybe it's because it costs GM $1,200 per car in workers benefits and it costs Toyota $100 per car?
 
I think koreans and alot of Asians in general like "old" american cars,classics. well....so do americans, we just dont drive our classics to work, because americans generally commute a hell of alot further than asians. we drive the jap cars to get the gas mileage then breakout the chevelles and barracudas on the weekends.
