I honestly do NOT mean this to be offensive, as I respect British culture. If you find this to be rude I apologize.
However, American tabloids and news stations are constantly talking about the impending nuptials of William and Kate. The thing is: Most Americans don't care. I don't care anyways. I am not British, so this has no effect on me. So are there americans who are fascinated by Royalty who are buying these magazines, or does CNN feel obligated to report this? I kind of wish they wouldn't b/c I am sick of hearing about it. I am honestly curious about why they would put on a huge media frenzy for something that has no effect on America.
