Why do they call a Harley Davidson duce a duce?

It's spelled Deuce, it is sort of supposed to remind you of "Deuce Coupe" which was a 32 Ford hot rod, all modified by chopping the top, lowering it, etc. Sort of fits, I guess.

this is the first time i have ever heard a harley called that so thare must not be many people calling it that
