bike shorts or bib shorts improve aerodynamics. it also breathes better in hot weather. not only that it doesnt have the parachute effect like you would have wearing regular shorts. and on top of that it has chamois/padding to make your ride more comfortable. also the benefit of muscle compression (google it). so dont be an ignorant juvenile punk. there is a reason for those outfits. Just because of the way they look you would not wear them and even ridicule people that wear them? I would ride naked with some cushioning around my balls if they allowed that in public without calling it indecent exposure. Why the hell do people care so much about what other people wear?

P.S. dont say its cause you dont like seeing fat people wearing spandex (Its not spandex by the way its lycra). I weigh about 140lbs during cycling season and I am 5'8" with most of my weight on my muscular thighs
I think they look great if you are in shape like I am? LMFAO!! Dont be jealous you cant wear tight fitting clothes and look good in them.

I would say that people have the same reaction to bike shorts as they do to speedos. They look really stupid. But as far as I'm concerned, if they're doing the sport that the garments were intended for, I see no reason not to wear them.

Some screwball people have a problem in our society in the male form. The bulge of the genitilia to be specific. I guess they have this delusion that it doesn't exist or something, I don't know. However, it is a double standard as generally no one cares much how much a female shows; whether it is good or bad. Male bashing is alive and well in our culture. Get used to it.

Just because they work well doesn't mean they don't look goofy as all get-out. Not that I give two shіts about what anyone would wear, but there you have it.

If you take a look at what active people are wearing, you'll quickly come to the conclusion that they wear whatever works for them, in whatever sport they are pursuing.

Sport clothing isn't meant to make a fashion statement (despite what some fashion mags would have you think) but rather to enhance performance.

Save your breath for going uphill, because twits who don't indulge in active sport don't know what they're talking about, and you're never going to change their mind. So just forget about them.
