the Marines have less ads because they don't need to fill slots as bad as the rest of the branches. the Marines are drilled hard everyday and night for 13 weeks. they get no phone calls just letters. they cant just stop when they are hurt. watch ears open, eyeballs click or the making of a Marine then watch a documentary of army basic training. hell in the Marine boot camp, you get hurt you tough it out. my buddy told me of a friend of his who fractured his hip during week 11 and lasted til grad day to tell anyone so he wouldn't let his platoon down. now what army kid is gonna do that? in all honestly the Marines have it harder but they can take a lot more. the army has roughly 550,000 with 150,000 reserves. the Marines have 240,000 with 40,000 reserves. it takes twice as many army grunts to do what a few Marines can do. think about it, with that kinda info there who needs advertising
