Football has existed and grown in popularity for 150+ years. It's followed by billions and draws passion that no other sport on Earth can ever come close to. Fans love the game, 0-0 draws are part of it and accepted. When a goal is scored it is a huge thing and greeted with roars of joy, relief and passion.
So why do the suits in bloody Switzerland, many of whom have probably never even kicked a ball, think they have the expertise to improve our game.
I like seeing exuberant celebrations. I like an offside rule that everyone understands etc etc. Why can't they leave their egos in their office and allow football people to make these decisions?
