while not thinking that the Bush administration squandered billions of tax dollars in Iraq?

I would think that Jesus would not have one problem with the costs, considering how many times helping the poor is mentioned in the New Testament. It sure is odd being gay is mentioned one or two times in those pages, and the right hangs on that with every other breath, but when it comes to helping the poor, mentioned hundreds of times, they rarely even think about it, unless it is to complain about having to even consider it.

Because these "costly" services do not actually help the poor. What they do is strip people of their dignity and only keep them locked into their current situation.

What Bush spent in Iraq will be nothing compared to what is spent in Afghanistan. Ask the Russians how that works out.
