Why do the media keep digging up what happened on Saddleworth Moor?

I used to live in Ashton-Under-Lyne , some of those murdered by Brady & Hindley were mates of mine when I was a child AND later we lived on Saddleworth Moor , We know what happened at Brady's mother's house in Hyde , Cheshire , things happened there should never become public knowledge , it was too gruesome and to keep digging it up gives me nightmares , I Know that the families effected want to know some of the facts that Brady won't tell but for their sakes give up on it !
Brady or Hindley sugested that they buried the bodies or body parts on the moors but if they put them into the natural lime or a peet bog on the moor , they will never ever be found even if brady did say where to dig , I'm sorry but that's how The Moor is ( ask the farmers who's sheep live on The Saddleworth Moor )

It sells newspapers, and should Keith Bennett's body ever be found, the journalist who first breaks the story will probably get an award and the associated fame. Journalism sucks.

There is also a morbid fascination with death at the mo' due to programs like CSI, Bones and similar shows. People are just self absorbed, shallow and voyeuristic.

Perhaps a permanent memorial on Saddleworth Moor would be a fitting tribute to those lost souls. It might also provide some closure for the parents.
