Why do test scores of religious-motivated home schooling families regularly

top those of the public schools? .....by wide margins?

I was reading the Wall Street Journal article on this topic. It compared the scores but apparently investigating the reasons was either not covered by the study or was not a focus of the journalist. Anybody see it?

It was interesting that parental income and minority status did not impact the general trend in the 33 states of the study.
