Why do some women appear shocked, when a man turns down sex?

I was watching a documentary about relationships, and a particular story about a couple caught my interest. A couple in their mid 30's were having slight marital issues due to sex. The couple both work , but he works full time 12 hours+ a 2 hour commute. The woman feels neglected sometimes because the lack of sex. I am not an expert on relationships, but having sex as soon as I get home isn't the first thing on my mind after a 14 hour day. She seemed puzzled as to why he turns her down for sex.
She said " I though men think about sex 24"

Thoughts?
 
Those women are immature and uncaring for their partner's needs. Men aren't little sex engines and they need rest, food and...time to get over their day, just as a woman would need.
