I think what you're wondering is why conservatives seem to overlook the military, police, fire-fighters and any number of other government-run agencies and organizations when they say "socialism is bad."

Am I right?

I wonder the same thing. If the government is so bad, or government-run organizations always bad, why don't they protest ALL of them?

The answer (or lack of) would seem to reveal an inconsistency.
