sport? there is this one guy, hes a football player if it makes any difference that just cant see how cross country is a sport he says that because it isnt entertaining that it isn't a sport and that he doesn't think theres a point o it, i mean what the hell, not only is it a sport but it has to be one of the most challenging out there, almost everyone can can play a pick up game of football, but not very many people can stand up and run 5 miles
but im not talking about walking or "running in any amount of time im talking about full out running 5 miles, now im not putting other sports down like football at all but i am just trying to make a stand that cross country is indeed a sport too
now i also play soccer, golf, baseball, and tennis
and honestly cross country has to be the hardest
first of all in soccer running is either conditioning, or my favorite "punishment"
golf even though that takes a whole lot of skill it just isnt very physically demanding, baseball, again you have to be able to be quick on your feet and have good hand to eye coordination but still not as physically demanding
tennis well yeah you have to have some beast stamina but i still think that cross country is more tiring and you have to have a mind as strong as a diamond
