I am a telemarketer for previous customers and for me to be able to provide the best package for them, I need to know their annual gross income "no specifics, just a letter". The moment they hear this, they become sour and mean even after a great intro chat. Why is that the case?
PS: I'm still young and just don't understand why people would switch off on something I can't do about over the phone, with 100+ calls to deal with. What harm could my call center do?
