I have heard some people say that He isn't real, but those comments really aren't backed up by history.
Most credible, experienced historians don't have a shred of doubt of whether Jesus was a real person.
Roman and Jewish historical texts back up the accounts of the Gospels, so we have evidence from both cultures surrounding His life that He existed.
I think that that denial comes from a lack of historical education.(which is always used as an argument against Christians)
