I'm just wondering. I have many friends, some homosexual, who use that word has part of their vernacular as a substitute for "annoying". I/they say it around other certain individuals and they decide that instead of it being for the context I'm using it in I'm insulting their lifestyle (or in some cases someone elses). I could care less if people are gay, i just dont understand why people are so afraid of a word.
Why do some people assume everytime you say the word "gay" your insulting them?
