Why do social sciences tend to be more controversial than physical sciences?

like Psychology, Religion, Politics, Economics, Cultures, and Race. No matter what, someone is always going to disagree with something they are taught about those subjects. And I've seen some pretty heated discussions regarding those subjects.
Medical vs. Psychological diagnosis

Being told that you have strep throat and needs to be treated, or it could be deadly. Its a bit scary, but someone is probably not going to be offended.

Being told that you're a psychopath, and you need to be institutionalized is probably going to offend someone very easily.

Natural Death vs. going to hell
"People get killed drunk driving", it would be seen most likely as a serious warning.
"Hinduism is a path leading to eternal torture" Most people would see that as an extremely arrogant and close minded statement.
