...history comes their way? Are we so wrapped up in ourselves and so convinced we must be the most important people that ever existed we get convinced the cosmos must be shaking in its very foundation the minute something a little bit out of the ordinary happens to our generation?

Considering the world has seen the fall of the Roman Empire, the industrial revolution, the plagues, the Crusades, Two World Wars, the breakdown of Papal power, the discovery of America, the Rise and Fall of communism, the Great depression, the French Revolution and the terror and a whole bunch of stuff I forget...

Well, apocalyptics of all ilk sound to me like a bunch of drama queens. Something happens in this generation and all of a sudden, nothing can ever be the same again.

Sounds petty, narrow-minded and self-centered to me.
