I have seen lately that a lot of media streaming services that provide service to the 50 states, Canada and the UK and even Japan preclude such service to all U.S territories outside the 50 states so Guam, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Samoa and many other U.S territories in which people are legal U.S citizens from birth cannot receive this services. Does anyone know why? Is it discriminatory measures taken by the companies that run this services? For example Hulu used to have this policy but changed it, while others have embraced it openly and enthusiastically. Now if there were really a federal law prohibiting people born in U.S territories to watch anything. We would not be able to have Cable or Satellite services but we do so that cannot be the reason. And if it was really an FCC ruling we would not be able to even view YouTube or HULU or any video streaming of any kind but we do. So what is really going on?
