ranting about the US? It's a bit ignorant. Most Americans ancestors hadn't even emigrated to the US at the time the offences were taking place. The first people to mistreat the American Indians were the European settlers - and not many Americans can trace their family back to them.
I think everyone agrees that the mistreatment of Native Americans is an embarrassment in American History. Even though it was a different time, with different values .... but Canada did the exact same thing, to the exact same peoples - and no rants at Canadians for it (except, justifiably, by the native Americans in Canada)

There just seems to be a strange level of hypocrisy and double standards in regard to America/Americans.

BUT

That doesn't mean that Europeans aren't being hypocritical in regards to this subject.

Europeans mistreated and KILLED the Aboriginals of Tasmania and Australia.

Not to mention the Inquisition in which many thousands of people were murdered in the Name of God.

You might want to bring up those subjects the next time a European person criticizes Americans.

I think there has been an Internet 'hate wave' of the USA in recent times.

My advise- vote Ron Paul and do not be too over concerned with the brainless rantings of foreigners. (that's coming from an English man BTW)
