Why do scientologists not like to talk about the space opera?

On YA, I once asked about scientology. One Scientologist said that "people get caught up in the space opera aspect". Well yeah. Atheists question the most absurd part of my religion, Christianity, i.e. Jesus raising people from the dead, ect. I could talk about that all day, but that's not what I'm getting into right now. If I have no problem with this, then why are scientologists uncomfortable with the most absurd part of their "religion", if you can classify L. Ron Hubbard's science fiction book Bibles as a religion. This is a major part of your belief, and you can't come to terms with the Dark Lord Xenu? No wonder there wasn't a bigger outrage after South Park.
