Why do Republicans pretend that the media "tricked us" into voting for Obama?

I don't even watch mainstream television...
I watch CSPAN and get info from the internet mostly.

Obama was just the better option.
I meant to vote for him and it was a sober decision on my part.

I agreed with funding a green energy initiative, getting the troops out of Iraq and yes... I also wanted to vote for the black guy for a change.

McCain was too old, too much of a war-hawk and too much of a friend to George W. Bush.
And Sarah Palin was a radical "charismatic christian" who is anti-gay, connected to big oil and was only chosen as a tactic to garner Hillary's voters. The plan failed.

There was no trickery going on... and nobody needs to make any excuses for me.

Why can't Republicans just accept the loss and move forward?

There is a possibility the Democrats would have pretended the media tricked Americans into voting McCain if McCain won. The election percentages were close to each other. If Obama was the better option then I suggest make a list of his election promises and see what percentage of them is kept, for instance his get the troops out of Iraq promise. Yes at least he said he wanted the troops out of Iraq, which is better than what McCain said, but the question is whether he is keeping his promise.
About the green energy funding, did you know that the polar ice caps on Mars is melting too, because of the sun going through a normal cyclic temperature adjustment? Al Gore didn't tell you that, did he?
Voting for the black guy sounds like voting for Clinton because Clinton was charming and good looking. Should our votes, if claimed to be sober, not be deeper than, literally, skin deep?
McCain may be old but his war and life experience made him one of the few candidates to oppose torture. Yes he's probably too much of a war hawk, Ron Paul would have been a better option, but it looks like Obama is a good acquaintance of GWB too.
