...are economically better? When all sources of electricity are government subsidized and government controlled. Electricity isn't a free market like Fast Food, Computers, or the Internet. It's uncertain which energy source is the cheapest or efficient due to the government subsidizing them all.
This debate of which energy source is economically superior is dumb on the grounds the government subsidizes them all. Which ruins the real value of the energy product.
Ann Coulter's Man Hand: Privatization is the best way to go. If the government goes bankrupt we all lose. All the eggs are in one basket. If one company goes bankrupt, so what there is another. Which brings competition. Which brings lower costs, which brings better service. Government competes with no one, has no incentive to do better because no one will beat them. All basic needs of life are privatized: Food, Clothing, Shelter, and 50% of Water is privatized.
