...of Republicans receive assistance? Millions of Conservatives collect social security, live in section eight housing, receive food stamps, receive medicare and medicaid, send their children to "public" schools, use the library, collect disability, government prescription programs, welfare, and so forth.

Why are Republicans collecting from these programs yet are so cold heartidly against them. Why can't these people practice what they preach and stop collecting ?

Some Republicans may use welfare programs, but all statistics shows that liberals use the vast, vast majority of them. Social Security is paid into, as is disability, unemployment and Medicare, and thus NOT welfare.

Are you a fine example of liberal thinking? Pathetic.

The Democrats sold the idea of social "security" six years before I was born. The democrats added numerous whistles and bells which depleted the money being put into the program. If I had invested my money and my employers' money and received 5% interest, I would have had $450,000 in my own account at age 65. Instead there is nothing there but IOU's. The government owes me.

I hear you. My Republican relatives are most of them on some type of social assistance, but to hear them tell it you'd think that if not for the big bad government they'd all be rich as Trump.

It's called cognitive dissonance. Of the top ten or twenty counties that had the highest percentage of population on food stamps, something like 60% voted for McCain in 2008. Look it up. It's true.

Public schools suck, public libraries suck, welfare sucks, prescription drug programs suck.

I think I'm seeing a theme emerge here, liberal Government spending sucks.

SSI is not an entitlement program, neither is medicare. We pay taxes too and have the idea that we should have a voice in the government. Most republicans i know don't live on welfare from one generation to the next.
We work for a living, something I doubt you have any experience with.
