...clue what they are doing!? It slays me when I read some of these questions! We have people out there with no clue. Whats this noise, where do I find the fuse box, why do the mfg. make head gaskets so hard to change, my car won't start what do I do, do you think it's this or that? Do you suppose they try to fill there own teeth, remove there own hemorrhoids, set there broken bones? And the spelling is so bad sometimes it makes me sick!

im sure its the same way for every one answer they want to fix their car but have no money to pay high bills and my spelling sucks but i try many people was never taught how to care for a car by their dads or grand dads i was lucky to have a shop to play in when i was young i was under cars when i was like 5 yrs old i was working on cars but wasnt fixing them but i was thinking i was and today im still working or cars... and sure i see some really dumb questions also but i try and not laugh

Thats the way I learned, by doing it myself. Never had money, had to do for myself. Nothing wrong with it. But I always recommend not to get over your head. There some things better done by a mechanic. Some one that has the proper tools.

True, when it comes to auto repair, there's a long learning curve. I have learned that if there's anything in the world you want to know, just start asking people and someone will sooner or later have the answer. That's all these people are doing here, and probably not with the intent of fixing it themselves - just looking for an answer. It's okay to ask questions. I have never ridiculed someone for asking a question.
