perfectly civil in the past? It's almost as though the liberals think they can suggest a sensible course of action even though they haven't always done what they are suggesting! You wouldn't go along with spending cuts if they were suggested by a politician who has pushed tons of earmarks in the past, right? So why should we be more civil if people who weren't always civil suggest that we ought to be?
