I volunteer at the humane society and the pit bulls there are SUCH sweethearts! They love to play and most of them don't even get distracted by other dogs none the less show any aggression towards another dog! I know fighting dogs are normally pit bulls but that doesn't mean all pit bulls are fighters! I mean they have no more potential to be agressive than any other dog, they just happen to be very strong.
Why do they have this reputation? Why are they being killed in Denver when they have probably never even been in a food fight?
My main point was even though most bites arem from pit bulls, that doesn't mean that all pit bulls bite! does that make sense now? And I agree with the other people, it's not the dog, it's ther owner. All dogs have the agressive gene in them because they started as wolves! but why is it that certain breeds like dobermans and pit bulls get all the blame?
And it's not the pit bull's fault that the owner bought him for fighting and didn't care about him, it's the owners. So for those of you that have no idea what the F*** ur talking about, go actually see a pit bull! Your mind will change, no question!
Just because their name is "pitbull" doesn't mean they are all fighters so get your head out of the f****ing gutter! Imagine if it was your innocent dog being taken out of your house and being killed with out being able to save him! It doesn't matter what breed it is, it's a life!
