Millions of poor, children in factories, tens of thousands of work related deaths every year, extremely low wages, 6-7 day weeks, long hours, terrible working conditions, strikes constantly and then constantly violently suppressed by the government, slavery, major recessions sometimes last 3-4 years every 10-15 years, majority of wealthy born into wealth.
Why the hell would anyone support that today? I know you'll either:
a) insult me for speaking the truth
b) talk about communism and avoid the question
or
c) say it wouldn't be like that today
If you choose to go with c can you please explain what exactly would make it different today?
And if libertarianism was such a success why was there so many American workers in unions? Why were there so many strikes? Why did the radical left have such high support during these times?
