Why do people still wear confederate flag t-shirts and paint it on the side

of their cars? Isn't that kind of racist? I mean they were founded because slave owners thought they were being taxed too much. Also i see a lot of southerners who are very patriotic wear the Confederate flag, which you think would be anti american since they seceded from america.But then when i wear a irish flag (my ancestors arrived in new york in 1845 and were poor irish immigrants) And they say that's anti american. In fact one called me a green n word when i was visiting georgia while wearing an irish flag t-shirt. I am very patriotic, but i might be a little biased since me and my family and my ancestors are from new york. In your eyes do you think it's good or bad in your eyes? And black people do you find the confederate flag offensive?
