I see this a lot (usually from younger kids though) if an artist that has been around for a while, say, 10 years, and hasn't come out with any music in a while, but decides to come out with music people say they shouldn't because they're old and should let the younger generation take over now.
I don't understand why people shouldn't be allowed to come out with music whenever they want, even if they're old.
This isn't a great example, but with the whole Nicki Minaj/Lil' Kim thing. People are always putting down Lil' Kim saying she's old and should stop trying to rap and let Nicki Minaj take over now, but it's like okay, she's "old" (She's only 35 while MEN who are older than her are still rapping and making hits), but she can still come out with some dope music if she wants to. I didn't realize there was an age limit *sarcasm*
