I'm a senior in high school and only have two good friends. I always try to make more friends because it's something that I feel will make me really happy. As of now my social life is really boring and I've never even been to a party or had a girlfriend. I have a shy personality, but I don't consider myself what most of the kids would consider a "nerd" which is a horrible title, but I understand how shallow some kids can be. The reason I don't consider myself that title is because I have been told that I am attractive and I have a pretty good style and a car of my own so these are all benefits in high school, aren't they?
Basically the situation I commonly come across is that I'll talk to someone new and have a good conversation when its just me and them, but when their click of friends is around they just completely ignore me and I'm usually left alone in my classes with no one to talk to. I just feel like I'm constantly being used. I will talk to people in class, but haven't made any "new" friends in seriously three years now... I've had the same two friends for that long. I'm a really nice guy and I feel like I'm missing out on life because of my shyness. As of now I get more interaction with people who I play online video games with, then in person.
