Why do people make excuses for Helio Gracie losing to Kimura?

i've never seen or heard any one make an excuse. the people who do, probably haven't really trained, and probably think all of the gracies are some kind of god's.
those who have trained, will most likely say he lost because kimura was better than him, and in losing learned a lesson that he carried on to his family, and later his students.
 
because people don't know any better, and they think that BJJ is the ultimate fighting style. Just because everyone in the UFC practices BJJ doesn't mean it's the most effective. Helio Gracie deserves his respect, but so does Kimura and other martial artists like Oyama, etc.
 
It does not matter what class they were in Kimura would have recked him. Not to mention Kimura was 38!
Kimura siad they used an extra and that if they were on Judo mats the first throw would have KO'ed him.
