I had an apple laptop and an I-pod and it is all just junk that is over priced.(lucily I sold it to some poor sap who thought it was cool)
One thing I hated when I had that was how people that buy it act like they are trendy.
The device themselves are garbage and in come cases cost 3X the cost of something similar MINUS the name.
I now have a phillips MP3 and I have a Toshiba laptop, they work better and less hassle than my Apple ever was.
I think Apple just appeals to people that struggle with their identity and its away for those people to fit in with others who bought into the hype.

I Pod is also not good for the money.
"It doesnt get spyware" or being clean looking......yeah ok the doesnt get that much spyware is a myth....it being clean looking doesnt jsutify the price, you can get a better looking Toshiba with better screen for less that is easier to use.
