I'm not American, but mock me all you want. There are also reputable scienists and scientific groups who say it ISN'T happening, and I'm not talking about industry or the auto sector. Someone's fudging the data for their own benefit, and it's not the aforementioned groups.
And yes, the lies that I refer to are, that even if global warming were happening, it certainly isn't man-made. Humans are arrogant enough to believe it's us, when nature is so much more powerful than we are.
 
It is much easier to shout down their claims of global warming as 'lies', but we actually face a real problem. If we invest money in tackling global warming, then we may be able to stop it in its tracks and therefore stop it taking a huge economic toll. That they are spreading these 'lies' is very much for your own benefit, because if you heed their warnings you may help save the future world trillions in damage from global warming. I would thank these people instead of trying to undermine them.
 
Because my friend, using global warming as a tool to set new policies to where international bodies can dictate to our industry is exactly what the new world order wants
 
It isn't a lie if you really believe what you say. Al Gore really believes what he is saying. Just because you don't agree with what he says does not make him a liar. And as far as I know he isn't making money on it.
 
Why do some people believe what they want to believe even when the facts are right under their nose if they opened up their eyes?

Are they stubborn or just stupid or just holding the ideological so called party line?

When doubt can be capitalized on, who uses lies for profit?

The person warning of harm or the person who seeks to maintain the status quo for person gain at the expense of others?

Why does this country spend more time on faith than critical thinking skills, deductive reasoning and TRUTH?

Is it easier to be brain washed or resist?

When you realize that the global economy is 49% souvenir nations, and 51% corporations, you have to ask yourself who should I believe!

Can you coexsist or must you dominate at the expense of others?

When was the last time you seriously thought about things and didn't just post stuff in places like this to get a rise out of people?
 
Global warming may be true but not man influenced.
it is Nature. Natural changes in the earth.
icarus62's listings in the answers list true facts but there is not facts that it is caused by man. the listings are for only a very short time. even a couple of hundred years is minute considering the age of the earth. Even the the time of man measures small on the life scale of this great blue planet.
 
Most of what they say is true since it relates to observable or anticipated effects. These are indisputable in large part.
Where the "lie" is, rests with the causation and potentials for remediation that can reasonably be achieved. Because folks recognize the science of the outcome as being true, they conflate that truth with the garbage that Al Gore and Suzuki spew about cause and remediation.
They are Zealots of the environmental cause. Gore makes a bunch of money selling "indulgences" under the "Green Pass" program. These do absolutely nothing for the environment but make the money washers very wealthy. Suzuki is a mouth piece for Greenpeace and the socialist agenda that people like Greenpeace, the Green Party movement, the GreenShift Liberal agenda, and so on.
This is all basically about POWER. When you have power and control, then you have the money to allocate as you see fit!
