Why do people keep asking " Why is the price of oil going up"?

Obviously the media isn't very informative. Can't people figure out it's a range of factors, from supply and demand, to the falling dollar, to environmentalists not letting us drill on our own land and build more refineries. Also the retarted Congress that keeps asking the same question when part of it is their fault.

Why can't people educate themselves more on the subject that is hurting everyone in the pockets???
