Today I asked a question, under M&D about the father of my unborn child saying mean and hateful things to me, to convince me to have an abortion. He basically is scared SHlTLESS right now, and believes I am ruining his life by not getting an abortion. He said the meanest things a guy could say, to sell the point that he is not interested in me or me having his child.

Now, I didn't include details when I asked this question, but the details are---him and I were never romantically involved. We were "good" friends for three years and decided to share an apartment. Shortly after, became intimate. He NEVER wore a condom, or withdrew. I even warned him when I was ovulating. I have my Bachelor's, was the Editor-in-Chief of my college newspaper and am currently enrolled for my Master's of Science in Counseling in the Spring.

I have spent the last 5 years working full-time for one of the top two engineering universities in the country as a Program Coordinator. So to say the least, "trapping an immature 22 year old guy with an unplanned pregnancy was the furthest thing from my mind." But that's the reaction I am already getting. That I am keeping the baby to make him love me and I am trying to force him. Honestly, I rather him disappear FOREVER than to be verbally and possibly physically abusive to me or my child. I am not thrilled that I am pregnant, ESPECIALLY by him but I am accepting it and am against an abortion, since I've already experienced TWO as a teenager. People are so presumptuous, in thinking that all UNWED mothers are desperate, fugly and crazy women who ran out of options---when simply---life just happens.

I am 26. And yes, old enough to know how babies are made. So, though I didn't protect myself, I'm also not using abortion as post-contraception.

I don't judge them as long as this is something that they decide to do themselves and they can support themselves and their child or children.
