Why do people hate a car manufacturer? If it wasn't for ALL cars we wouldn't...

...have a NASCAR circuit, woule we? Toyota, Ford, Dodge, and Chevy doesn't Nascar need them all if not more? Where would the challenge be if the field was full of only 1 manufacturer? Oh yeah we have that it is IROC.
All manufacturers are free to spend what they want for R and D. Don't hate one because they are spending money. If that were true then Hendricks, Gibbs. RCR would all be hated for the money they spend and everyone would be a Robby Gordon fan.

Your position would be great if all the manufactures involvement was equal.

When one manufacturer is willing to spend one billion dollars to win a cup championship compared to the others 20 to 50 million dollars then Nascar does not need all of the manufactures.

Edit.....Ford, Dodge and Chevrolet cannot spend a billion dollars. You favor Toyota so you think it's fair but it is not. We may as well let F-1 cars run in Nascar.

I agree with you. Sadly, some of the people who answer this question won't do so with facts and logic. They will do so with their emotions, and that is really sad.

How can anyone...in their right minds...notice ANY freakin' difference between the Toyotas, Dodges, Chevys, and Fords now that the COT is so regulated????

If you took the #2, #20, and #24...took all of the paint off of them and took the manufacturers' stickers off of the cars I doubt anyone would be able to tell the difference.

This is what buggs me more than anything else. 99% of the Chevy lovers and Toyota haters who are fans wouldn't even know what make the car was without a freakin' decal.

Besides...do you really think a bunch of Japanese guys are building the engines in the Gibbs and other Toyota garages? C'mon!
