Why do people even argue against the SEC being the best conference in college

football this year? Arkansas was the only SEC team in the top 25 that lost a bowl game so far.
LSU won by 17, Alabama won by 42 against a team that was higher in the BCS rankings by 7 slots, Mississippi State won by 38 against Michigan who many believed had a top 6 QB in the nation in Denard Robinson who was once a candidate for the Heisman. Florida not being a top 25 team who looked lost during the season beat Penn State by 13 points. Those SEC teams who won did it by at least 13 points and they won by an average of 27.5 points a game.

The teams who mostly lost in the SEC were the teams who lost more than 4 games during the regular season like South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and their average defeat was only by 5.1 points a game (with two games being decided by 5 points or less and no defeat by more than 9 points).

The strength of a conference is about how the top dogs do when they face elite teams in other conferences and as we speak Auburn is number one and the team to beat unless Oregon proves differently.
