Personally, I've met business women who I would describe as WAY more feminine that some of the housewives I've met...I've met and seen stay at home moms who talk to their children like they were talking to the scum of the earth, who have overall crude demeanors, and probably don't even own a hairbrush let alone brush their hair every so often. How is that more feminine than the businesswoman who wears business skirts, pantyhose, and high heels to her job everyday?
I didn't say with being female. I said with femininity. Femininity describes traits typically thought to be feminine...wearing a dress is considered feminine, but you don't have to be a female to do so.
Okay, let me put it this way. There are guys who think that a woman is "more of a woman" for staying home and cleaning than for leaving the house and making some money...but really, being a housewife does not guarantee that a woman acts like a LADY at all.
Thank you Lorax. Blows my mind that anyone could believe that, just because a woman is a housewife, she is by default a feminine woman.
