they blame america for making these things because the servicemen use them on them. considering iran opening live ammo on civilians, they should be glad america made cheap and effective gear that they felt it was enough to deal with crowds with nonleathal force. yes, some people can die considering thousands are in the crowds. but after you wake up from being ko'd by a rubber grenade, well first youll notice the pain, but then youll notice your not dead or full of scars from shrapnel.
i honestly dont know what to tell to people in egypt right now imo. i just hope it ends soon. *fingers crossed*bloodless coup, come on bloodless coup. but american tech is whats making a citizen uprising even feasible without massive casualties. its up to the people who do clash to be forceful, but take the initiative to not kill until the VERY moment you could possibly die. it sucks but its better to stand down if you encounter soldiers with live ammo. but i think they wont, so to have a revolution like this, its more a show of how serious people are about the govt and who wants each's demands more. it comes down to do the egyptian citizenry want a new govt and/or leaders more than current people want to hold power.
some of those deserve arms shipments. but my point is when you ask about america in respect to nonleathal weaponry, and today(yea the mujah hadim getting unlimited rpgs was a bad move), people should recognize the fact if they revolt against a tyrant, they actually have a meaningful ability to rise up without having to worry as much about being mortally wounded and that its good whoever is using it on them, is using it instead of live ammo. america sells nonleathal arms to anyone because it beat live ammo in all circumstances. technology has made it effaceable to overpower others without drawing blood on purpose.
