Why do people complain about storylines dragging on?

Sometimes it is more realistic.
Phils recovery from crack addiction and Jack walking straight away were ridiculous.
Also the speed of the Ryan/Stacey affair was stupid and far fetched.

I think certain storylines covering a long period of time are ok as long as they interact with other storylines too.

Hi!

Yes, I agree. Sometimes it's more realistic for a story to be played out for a long time, however, if it's a story some people don't like they're obviously going to complain about it. It's like the baby story - not many people like that and they've been complaining online about it for absolutely ages, it never stops! But the thing like Whitney's story (Because she's back on Monday, in her house safe and sound apparently.) that got resolved a little too quickly, because a pimp wouldn't let his girls get away incase they told the police about them and got them arrested.

I agree with you. There are a lot of times where they rush things, and it just doesn't turn out as good as it would have if they would've taken their time with it.
