Why do people complain about brand name clothes?

I always hear people complain about the high prices of as or aero ect... But if you look at it it isn't by very much and sometimes if you look on the clarence section it's even cheaper.. And it's not just the logos I have bought shirts from Wally world Aka walmart a long time ago like 10 11 and quality from ae And stuff is nicer.. Or shoes I have had walmart shoes and their just not as comfortable for my feet as 180$ nikes but I also play varsity sports so I need pampered feet lol
