At least once a week in the apartment complex, a car gets repossessed. Well the repo guy knocked on my door and woke me up, but it ended up being the guy with the same unit number one floor down. I told the repo guy that's why I drive crappy 15+ old cars so I don't have to have payments, and he said he agrees. So question is why do people buy cars they can't afford when they can just buy a cheap $1200 one like me and be done with it. Every $1200 car I bought lasted at least 4 years before either the engine or transmission went.
