The most unbiased way I can really ask this is, since I don't even know if I believe this friend of mine or not, how could a person grow up learning somehow to believe that his history is wildly different from anybody elses, spiritually?
This history usually involves something pre-life, as in past lives or their time between lives, and almost always involving a great war between himself and forces of darkness. Sometimes they think it's the other half of themselves. What could make a man learn over years, this specific notion about his past? I realize some of what he says might be true as I personally believe that weird stuff happens sometimes, but I suppose I'm asking this in the context of "how do I deal with him, either way." He's still a friend.
