Why do people always think their team is going to win +70 games?

If I'm not mistaken, it's only happened once in the history of the league. If it has happened more, it has been a long time.

Even the all-time great Lakers and Celtics teams couldn't do it. Why do people think this is so easy. It's probably like going 16-0 in the NFL, or winning 100+ games in baseball.

The same thing happened this year before the season was in full speed,i think i saw this one show saying kobe and the lakers going
