when you were young there were hardly any OAPs for you to support, now we are flooded with them

you didn't put money into a proper pension

you chose to have a small family, or no family, and are now suprised there aren't enough young people to support you

houses were ridiculously cheap when you were young, now young people are priced out the housing market. Often because oldies own one or more home, and refuse to downsize once they retire.

most OAPs are not old enough to have fought in WW2, so why do they use this as an excuse to justify higher pensions

why should tax payers pay for care of the elderly? if you got money, and you want care, YOU pay for it. When did a family's responsibility for caring for their old relatives become the taxpayer's problem

that's all for now
happy murcia: well isn't that another thing.

the older generation didn't pay a penny for their education, yet I'm 10-20 grand in debt because of mine

wages were very low when they were young...so housing was still expensive...it's all relevant.

i'd rather support the elderly community than the chav community - layabouts who don't want a job...single teenagers who keep breeding - with no intentions of ever working...i don't like paying for that lot!!

if you're 10-20 grand in debt it isn't because of your education its because of your lifestyle n*mbn*ts (don't b*llsh*t about student loans...many of us have been there and know the system) if you feel hard done by you've only yourself to blame......if you're gonna rant at least be accurate....why do you continue to whine about the money you owe when you got the benefit from it!!! the generation before you are not the cause of your problem and their issues about pensions if resolved will help you when you're in the same ( and probably considerably worse) situation...wise up and stop blaming everyone else.........
