I have had allergies that are triggered by seasonal and/or weather changes since the age of 11. They have only worsened since moving south 3 years ago. However, my symptoms (runny or stuffy nose, headache, coughing) get worse if I must be indoors all day, such as at work, but immediately begin to improve if I go outdoors, drive home with the windows down, or open my windows at home. Why is this?
(Note: I have ceased taking all OTC and prescription medications for my allergies as per my doctor's reccommendation since we have yet to find any that are effective.)
