Firstly i started of with three fishes a male guppy, a heavily pregnant femail guppy and a sword tail (male).
The prgnant one is close to giveing birth because its showing alotof the syntoms i read but please can someone tell me some more symtoms. ive had my fishes (3) for a week now.
Today i bought three more fishes a prgnant female and a female swordtail (i don this to make it breed with the male one) and i also bought a neon tetrun (i think thats how u spell it).
Now whats happning is that suddenly the male sword tail keeps attacking everyone, and they all seem to be attacking the heavily prgnant one even the femaile guppyi feel really sorry for it becasue it was fine before all the new 1s came.
i thought that by getting a new female it would distract the male, and my getting a femail sword tail it would distract the male.
but all they seen to do is fight. Now even the male sword tail and the female sword tail keep fighting too. The male keeps trying to bite its bum or something. THEY ALL KEEP FIGHTING, IS THIS NORMAL, i dont want to get a breeders box for my prgnant guppy but should i still move it, ohh yeah the new femle guppy is prgnant to, should i move them both.
And finally how do i know when my sward tail is mating??
The only fish which is normal is the neon fish. it got bit twice and now its just left alone.
But its the first day theyve been in the tank with the originals, so hopefully it would get better.
